Tangya Tusi City archaeological site is in Xianfeng County, Enshi Prefecture.

Documented place and context#

Hubei’s heritage introduction identifies the site as the seat of the Qin-family Tangya tusi and places it beside the Tangya River. The site belongs to a specific administrative and archaeological context. It should not be confused with a different modern attraction carrying a similar Tusi City name.

Planning your visit#

Use 唐崖土司城址 and 咸丰县 together when confirming a booking. Ask whether a tour goes to the archaeological site or to a separately operated themed attraction. At the site, distinguish excavated remains from reconstructed interpretation. Do not generalize one institution’s history into a claim that all Tujia residents share a single custom or belief.

Scope#

This focused introduction is not a full city itinerary or a first-person visit report. The planning questions are editorial. Current prices, opening hours, daily programmes and fixed journey times are not asserted. Confirm arrangements with the named institution or operator.
