Wangguo is associated with the approaching harvest; it does not have one fixed date everywhere.
Documented calendar context#
The regional account describes choosing an occasion before the harvest, followed by harvesting. This is a seasonal and local reference rather than a permanent Gregorian date.
Planning questions#
Ask which village or locality an event notice concerns and whether participation is by invitation. Confirm the year, meeting point and access with the organizer. Do not treat a generic festival description as permission to enter farmland or join a ceremony.
