Lujiazui is a financial and commercial area in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, across the river from the Bund.
Place and context#
Shanghai’s official profile identifies Lujiazui with landmarks including the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center. Lujiazui is a particular area, not a synonym for all of Pudong. The source’s 2022 economic statistics are historical and are not presented as current tourism information.
Planning a visit#
Decide whether the objective is a riverside view or entry to a particular building. A tower’s presence in the skyline does not make its observation deck part of another venue’s admission. If combining both riverbanks, select the actual crossing and check its operating information rather than assuming the opposite shore is accessible by the nearest bridge on foot.
Scope#
The planning suggestions are editorial guidance, not a claim of personal experience. Current prices, journey times, restaurant ingredients and opening hours are not asserted here. Check the named venue’s current arrangements before booking.
