The Xixia Imperial Tombs in Ningxia entered the World Heritage List in 2025.

What the heritage record establishes#

UNESCO identifies an imperial cemetery at the southern Helan Mountains, including nine imperial mausoleums and subordinate tombs. This is a specific archaeological property. Its inscription should not be described as World Heritage status for the whole of Yinchuan or as proof that all surrounding attractions belong to the same ticketed site.

Planning your visit#

If this cemetery is your main reason for visiting, plan the site visit separately from other stops. Confirm the actual entrance, museum access and return transport with the operator. Read display labels to distinguish a surviving structure, an excavated feature and a reconstruction. The inscription record does not supply current prices or an operating timetable.

Before making a booking#

Check current opening arrangements and admission conditions with the named site operator. The planning advice above is editorial guidance, not a report of a completed visit. No current fare, restaurant certification or guaranteed journey time is asserted.
